FOTD: Tropical
I had a birthday party yesterday and the theme was "beach". I was originally going to wear one of my cute new summer dresses that I recently bought from ASOS... and then the weather turned and the forecast was a measly cloudy 19°C. So I ended up just wearing jeans with my new bright coral asymmetrical top (also from ASOS) for at least a slight beachy feeling, and spiced up my make-up a little to compensate.
On my face, I'm wearing Sunlight colour corrector (for dark circles), Mint colour corrector (for redness), Multi-intensive concealer and foundation in Medium, all by Everyday Minerals. I put on some coral pink lip gloss, Ultra Shiny Lipgloss in 001 by Etos to match the top.
I used eyebrow powder in Auburn, also by Everyday Minerals, to help my eyebrows match my hair colour. On my eyes, I used a Gosh shadestick in Love that icy blue! as a base, smudging and fading it into the skin until it was barely visible. I then put Barry M Dazzle Dust #78 all over my lid and crease, and Barry M Dazzle Dust #83 on the inner 1/3 of the lid. I then used my blending brush to apply a little bit of the darkest blue colour from the Sleek Storm palette along the crease. Using a liner brush, I lined my lower lash line with both Barry M colours, the light green in the inner corner and the blue along the rest of my lash line. On my upper lash line, I used the black from the Sleek palette with the same liner brush. I finished the look off with some Ultra Black Volume mascara by Etos and the Etos Automatic Kohl Pencil in 001 on my waterline.
